The Story Behind the Music

 

Velvet Cha Cha was born from a need to return to something honest.

 

After years of performing, producing, and creating for others, I found myself searching for a deeper connection with sound — not as entertainment, but as emotion.

 

In this project, I step away from the spotlight as a performer, and focus entirely on what I love most — composing and producing.

 

Velvet Cha Cha is not about a single voice.

It is about a universe of sound.

 

“Lo que fue” is a reflection of that space —  

a collection of songs shaped by love, time, and the beauty of what once was.

 

Each piece blends Latin roots with a contemporary sensitivity, brought to life through carefully crafted arrangements, musicians, and voices.

 

This is music to feel.  

Not just to hear.
